Ford Johnson Memorial Trophy

The Ford Johnson Memorial Trophy is a commemorative trophy awarded to the chapter with the most accumulated driving miles to Regional and International sanctioned events in a 1955, 1956, or 1957 Thunderbird. The late Ford and Nell Johnson of Seattle, Washington were dedicated Classic Thunderbird enthusiasts attending every possible Regional and International Convention. They were regularly honored with longest distance driven awards at Regional and International conventions. Ford Johnson always encouraged members to participate at CTCI conventions by driving their Thunderbirds.

Newsletter Contest

The purpose of the newsletter contest is for CTCI to honor and encourage chapter editors. The editors work very hard to publish a newsletter to get information out to the members of their club. CTCI honors these editors by recognizing each and everyone that enters their club newsletter in the contest. The call for entries is in the Nov/Dec and Jan/Feb issues of the EarlyBird each year. We encourage our Chapter editors to enter their newsletters to Sandra Hood (Texas) at shood@ctci.org.
