| Record-Setting $66.3 Million at Mecum Glendale 2022- Mecum Houston Next
Following another record-setting performance at Mecum Glendale 2022 with $66.3 million in sales, Mecum Auctions moved to NRG Center for Mecum Houston 2022 to take place this March 31- April 2 with an estimated 1,000 American muscle cars, classics, Corvettes, trucks, exotics, Hot Rods, customs and more to cross the auction block.
Among the 11 Thunderbirds consigned to Mecum Houston 2022 are a pair of classic Thunderbirds from the Triple J Ranch Auto Collection at No Reserve including a 1956 Ford Thunderbird (Lot T6.1) optioned with the P-Code 312 CI V-8 fitted with a single Holley 4-barrel carburetor and finned Thunderbird script valve covers, and it’s backed by an automatic transmission. Finished in Fiesta Red with a Colonial White porthole hardtop and two-tone red and white interior, it is amply equipped with Swift Sure power brakes, fender skirts, a Continental kit, full-size wheel covers over wide whitewall tires, heater and defroster and an upgrade to Pioneer AM/FM sound.
