Dear CTCI Members,
During this time of nationwide concern and uncertainty over the coronavirus known as COVID-19, we want to assure you that the health, safety, and wellness of the Thunderbird community is of the utmost priority of the CTCI Board of Directors and the Trail Birds of Southwest Florida’s Board of Directors. Just as most people, we have been watching the news and listening to recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control and are taking steps to help mitigate the potential risks COVID-19 might pose to our car club community.
As President of CTCI, I am working closely with the Trail Birds of Southwest Florida Event Chairman on the next steps we can take in regards to the 2020 Convention. At this time the May 4 – 9 date has been canceled. The host Club is working with the Hyatt Regency to see if an opportunity might exist for a potential convention date for Fall 2020.
It is the intent of the CTCI Board and the host Club to make a formal announcement by the end of March concerning future convention schedules. For those already registered, we ask that you hold off on requesting refunds until April 6th. If you have hotel reservations, you may cancel anytime. Please call the Hyatt Regency Sarasota direct at 941-953-1234.
