Classic Thunderbird Owners Club – Chicago South Suburbs

We are Chapter #98 of the Classic Thunderbird Club International headquarters in the southern suburbs of the Chicago area. Our club includes members from the south suburbs, Indiana, and north central Illinois. We are dedicated to the preservation of Classic Thunderbirds. Our club includes 1955, 1956, 1957, 1960’s era and retro Birds, 2002 thru 2005.

CTOC History: CTOC (Classic Thunderbird Owners Club) is a rather small club currently consisting of 36 members. Our club has been in existence for the past 37 years and is a little like the Little Engine That Could—We just keep, keeping on! Our original membership consisted of all 1955 thru 1957 little Birds, however many of our current members have the classics in addition to the newer Retro Birds. Over the years we have realized and adopted this motto—

“Cars brought us together, however FRIENDSHIPS have kept us together”

Throughout the year our members enjoy a variety of functions monthly. The locations, times and directions to outings are provided to each member. Our outing locations cover a large area including Chicago, Indiana and the southwestern suburbs. We welcome anyone who would like to attend and enjoy the camaraderie prior to making a commitment to join our club. We would like to meet you and have you get to know our group.
