Chapter 81

Puget Sound Early Birds

Puget Sound Early Birds (PSEB) is located on the Kitsap Peninsula of Washington State (across Puget Sound from Seattle). Our Mission: to operate and maintain an organization to encourage and promote the admiration and ownership, care and maintenance, with safe and courteous operation, of the “Classic Thunderbird”, defined as a two-passenger 1955, 1956, and 1957 Ford Thunderbird automobile.

To serve as a medium of exchange of ideas, information and parts for admirers and owners of the Classic Thunderbird to aid them in restoring and preserving these automobiles in their original likeness. To further the interests of owners and drivers of Classic Thunderbirds and to promote the safety and enjoyment of motoring in all phases. To engage in any other activity related to that described above from time to time authorized or approved by the Board of Directors.

Each year, PSEB offers a variety of events designed to appeal to all members, their families, and their guests. Formal club activities include caravan drives, local day and overnight trips; dinner, brunch, and pot luck meetings; picnics with fun concours, and an annual Holiday Party. Meetings include technical sessions — sometimes, impromptu because of car breakdowns — by PSEB members. The PSEB publishes a monthly newsletter to keep in touch with members and to provide information about events, reports on PSEB activities, technical articles, and other T-Bird related information.
