Chapter 35

Arizona Classic Thunderbird Club

The Arizona Classic Thunderbird Club was founded October 11, 1970. The purpose of the club is to promote admiration, ownership, care and maintenance of the 1955-57 Thunderbird. Our club has grown from six charter members to over 200 members today, with over 130 classic Thunderbirds ranging from daily drivers to national show winners.

Meetings are held the second Sunday of each month at various locations in the Phoenix area. Activities include car shows, parade participation, economy runs, theme parties, the Route 66 Fun Run and an annual holiday gala.
