Smoky Mountain Classic Thunderbird Club – East Tennessee

We are a Classic Thunderbird Club in the Knoxville area of East Tennessee. Our first meeting was held in November 2007. There are around 65 active members and we are looking to grow that number with folks that have an interest in the Classic Thunderbirds (1955-1957) and/or modern classic Thunderbirds (2002-2005). While owning a Classic Thunderbird is desirable it is not mandatory. Only an interest is required.

Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of every other month beginning with January (odd months) at 7:00 at R.J.’s Courtyard in Alcoa.

Throughout the year on a monthly basis, numerous driving events occur in and around the Knoxville, TN area. They include technical sessions, tours, rallies, overnighters, cruise-in’s, concours, parades, community service, eating out and parties.

If you are interested in enjoying your Classic/modern classic Thunderbird with folks of a like mind please contact with us as we are anxious to have you join the club and participate in the many activities that range from driving events, restoration, shows and socializing.
